SIMPLE TIP OF THE DAY:
DON’T DO DELIVERY PIZZA!
I am not going to get into all the chemicals in takeout pizza right now (think BPA, genetically modified rBST hormone, antibiotics, toxic preservatives, and on and on) you can get a quick glimpse of the ingredients here if you like. What I do want to tell you about is the PIZZA BOX! Takeout pizza boxes are coated in a chemical called PFCs. This is the same type of chemical as Teflon…seeping into your pizza! The half-life of these chemicals are 4 years (which means it takes FOUR YEARS to eliminate half of the chemical!) and they are linked to cancer, toxicity of the liver and most other organs, disrupt hormones, affect reproductive systems and more…..YIKES!
You are better making your own pizza…and if not then frozen pizza would be better that takeout.
